Babbles and Bliss, a lifestyle blog, needed an identity to reflect its fun, airy, and adventurous nature. For the typefaces in the logo, I identified a playful script as well as a round and friendly sans serif to provide a personal feel. The simple branch illustrations angled outward add a welcoming element as well as a sense of whimsical adventure.
Along with topics such as travel, food, and productivity, much of the blog’s content pertains to fashion and cosmetics—at the guidance of the client, the color palette largely reflects these two topics, in particular.
Additional brand elements—including the stand-alone branches and the message blurbs—were created for use throughout the blog and the blog’s social media pages. The intention was to use these illustrations as needed—for example, as markers at the end of a blog post, the favicon for the website, etc.
